Based In Longridge Preston, Ambulance Parts Ltd was founded in 2009 as a joint project between NHS vehicle repair specialists THG North West Ltd and Vehicle coachbuilding specialists Van Bodies Lancs Ltd, bringing together a combined experience of almost 80 years in the vehicle construction and repair industry.

We are an NHS Approved Accident Repair and Vehicle Construction Specialist backed up by our warehouse which stocks a wide range of over 500 industry standard components and our own off-the-shelf spare parts.

We supply many Front Line and PTS Ambulance organisations, and conversion specialists throughout the UK and Europe. The North West and Welsh Ambulance Services, St John Ambulance, Wilker Auto Conversions and WAS Vehicles are just some of the valued customers we supply to.

We can supply parts for most ambulances currently utilised throughout the UK and Ireland, including, but not limited to Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter and Renault Master conversions. We also specialise in sourcing or manufacturing older parts for vehicles such as Renault FB/MK1 and MacNeillie/UV Modular builds.

Our range of AP Access Wedge Ramps have been developed, tested and installed in conjunction with the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Incorporating safety features such as Anti-trap Motor Shut-off and Soft Start Technology, reliability, a robust build quality, and ease of use for extremely demanding environments. Our wedge ramps can also be fitted as a direct replacement for fibreglass Lateral ramps with no alteration to the floor pan required.

Our AP Parts department stocks over 500 parts, including body panels, doors, battery cradles, access steps, emergency lighting, cupboard fittings, locks, latches, signage, seating/seatbelts and much more. Most of our parts are in stock and available for same day or next day delivery, or can be ordered and collected the same day. We can also offer bespoke manufacturing of parts and components should something be obsolete or require a unique fitting.

Our mobile fleet care technicians are experts in the field of mobile repairs and servicing, and offer UK wide cover to suit your needs. Our fleet care technicians are highly trained in the servicing and maintenance of our own AP Access Ramps, and are trained to repair many other manufacture’s ramps, steps and components. We can service/repair many items such as seats, belts, lighting and other internal and external fittings.
